Round Trays For Coffee Tables – Earlier this week, Bridget shared her beautiful new rectangular coffee table in her family room. it is clear, I have a tall version of this table as our dining room table, so obviously I’m obsessed with the look.
Because Bridget’s table was so big, She was having trouble getting it right. You want it to be functional for your everyday life, but you want it to be beautiful. The struggle is real. When I came up with a game plan for him to style his new table. I just realized I’ve never discussed coffee table styling on the blog. And I have a lot of advice to share.
Round Trays For Coffee Tables
First, Depending on the size and shape of your coffee table, it is important to style it. We have a round coffee table in our family room (still love this piece!) because the rest of the furniture in our living room is linear. We have a segment with straight lines; There is a large straight dining room table and a large rectangular floor that takes up a large part of the room. Not to mention the built-ins full of square and rectangular boxes. A lot of straight lines.

That’s why the coffee circle knows the way to go. It softens the room and softens the rough stuff here. But what do you put on the table? Let’s explore some of my recommendations…
We all want every surface in our home to look perfect; But that’s not always practical when you live a busy life. So, the first suggestion is that your coffee table style works for you and your family. We don’t have kids or pets so it’s okay to have a few “breakables” on the coffee table. However, you need to keep your coffee table clear most of the time, and you may need to style it when entertaining or entertaining guests. That works too.
I always recommend placing a tray on the coffee table. In fact, I do the same on our dining room table. If you need a clear table, just lift the tray and it’s empty in 2.5 seconds. If you have a round table, I recommend going with a square or rectangular tray. It’s not a good look around. However, A round tray can work just as well as a rectangular tray (as evidenced by the tray on B’s dining room table).

My white tray is from West Elm and I love their selection (they have my same lacquer tray in small, square, rectangular and round.) Target and HomeGoods are great sources for trays. Make sure it’s big enough to fit everything you need to style it.
A coffee table needs beautiful coffee table books. I’ve had these 2 books here for a while, but I love the size and colors. The bottom book is a gift from my mother… 100 photos from TIME magazine. It’s a beautiful book full of historic black and white photographs taken over the past few decades.
The black striped spine is the ultimate styling tool, so every blogger and designer feels like using this premium book. It’s a beautiful backbone to add some style to a boring table. If I ever write a book, I’m sure the spine will signal. The book is called “Elements of Style” and it’s written by blogger/designer Erin Gates. I love this book because of the beautiful spine, But I love giving guests a glimpse of the interior of the house.

When choosing coffee table books, I believe they mean something to you. Yes, You can make them the right size. You want the cover to have a spine that works well with your room… but the titles should tell you a little bit about your story and your interests. Be intentional with the books you choose.
I always love how books decorate my coffee table. In this example, I have a box of marbles. It was a gift from a few years ago and it was another West Elm piece (similar to this one). While the box is decorative and beautiful, it is also home to some hidden storage.
Inside this box we keep our playing cards and Uno cards. It’s nice to have some games on hand when I don’t feel like hanging out in the family room and just watching TV. Boxes are great for hiding things you might need in the family room. A larger box might be the best place to store your remote controls and keep them out of sight.
Customise Your Furniture With Our Tray Tables Set
I don’t know about you, but we are coastal people at home. Since getting a new coffee table, I want to do everything I can to make it look good. Finn and I are both always dripping with water, and the worst part is that the water cup would sweat and leave rings around the house. That’s why we use coasters on every surface in all of our locations.
Let your guests follow your lead and style it with cute coasters if you want to compliment your furniture. Then they’ll get a hint of what you want them to use. These marbles are from Crate & Barrel and I’ve had them forever. HomeGoods always has cute little ones too, so be sure to check them out!
Whenever I buy beautiful flowers, I often display them on my coffee table. It brightens up the entire room and adds some freshness to the space. Lately I’ve been on a tulip kick, my favorite flower for spring.

When we don’t have fresh flowers at home, we often add greenery to the table. This black vase and faux eucalyptus are a permanent fixture on our coffee table.
A vase full of flowers (or lush greenery) adds height to the table and adds some color and freshness. I recommend not skipping this step when making coffee circles.
This is the formula when it comes to styling a coffee table. Indeed, I unveiled a similar setup in this living room. tray books, boxes, coasts, A vase of lush greenery…it’s just perfect for a family room situation.
Tables Support For Rectangular Trays
Candles make a great coffee table and you can even hide matches in a cute box. I even like a basket on the second level of the coffee table or a wicker tray to add some texture.
So there you have it… my tip for making a round coffee table. Bridget is still working on the perfect look for her new coffee table, but she plans to share what she knows in a blog post soon. So whether you need to make a round coffee table or a square/rectangular one…we’ll give you all the tips and tricks you need to get the perfect look.
