Coffee Table Wood And Glass – If there’s a downside to salvaging as much material as we do, it’s the amount of scrap wood left over after a dining table or console table has been completed. Throwing away usable materials is the last thing we want to do, instead we save our waste and use it whenever possible.
These coffee tables are made from this waste, we simply add complementary pieces in a patchwork fashion on a birch frame. We attach 3/8 clear tempered glass sheet on top with steel caps, legs are steel hairpins which we weld right here in our shop, each table is 100% original made hand.

The wood is finished with poly and hand rubbed beeswax, the steel is given a clear coat to protect against future rust. I ordered the work desk and a Maloof style chair and ended up being very disappointed with the whole experience for several reasons (limited by space). The desk came unassembled, which I didn’t see coming with shipping charges over $1000. The assembly of the desk was very difficult. There were no instructions included, no pre-drilled holes. I had to make two attempts to drill the drawers into the frame as it’s a very narrow margin of error. Scratches all over the top of the desk, probably loose lacquer. The owners recommendation was to polish and refinish it myself. The drawers don’t even come out, basically inaccessible, which you can’t tell from the description or the photos. The furniture is beautiful despite this. I think the owners are trying to make a good product and provide good service but really failed on this one.

My dark walnut stool completed its journey to me today. This stool is well built and provides a stable platform that allows me to finally reach the top shelves in my kitchen. I put some small felt pads under the legs to allow it to slide smoothly on the floor. I’m happy with the finish and the walnut blends well with the other hardwood furniture I have in the house.
Wow, this bench was beyond my expectations. Perfect craftsmanship, smooth and neatly packaged. Even the feet are carefully sanded so as not to scratch the floor. I am so impressed with this bench and it makes me so happy to walk by and sit on it every day!
