This table is a combination of clear glass and solid wood. The glass contains heat, which means it is hardened (making it stronger than normal glass) and will have a much stronger effect on the glass breaking (compared to normal glass). Only under extreme impact will the glass break. No MDF Veneered was used for this product. All trees are hardwoods. This makes the product very strong, heavy and of high quality. Solid wood is easier to repair if cracked or damaged unlike smooth surfaces.
