Care instructions for waxed tables and furniture: Use coasters or placemats to prevent marks or stains. Hot plates or glasses placed directly on any wooden surface will cause discoloration. Avoid mineral oils, chemicals, detergent-type cleaners as their use will adversely affect the finish of the wax. Wipe the table with a soft, dry or slightly damp cotton cloth after each use. Avoid prolonged placement of objects on furniture surfaces as discoloration from natural light will occur. The wax must be reapplied as normal use wears away the waxed finish. Briwax, a high-quality finishing wax, is our furniture sealant of choice; apply as directed.
